Troubleshooting

Practical answers, in order

Start at the top of the relevant list. Stop when Haptix is working again.

Apple Watch

My Haptix or timer state isn’t syncing

  1. Keep your iPhone and Apple Watch nearby with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled.
  2. Confirm Haptix is installed on the Watch and both devices have the same current app version.
  3. Open Haptix on both devices, then leave both apps open briefly so the pending update can finish.
  4. If the connection still looks stale, restart both devices and open the iPhone app first.
If Haptix says sync is paused: do not reinstall or reset either app. Take a screenshot of the message and contact support first so we can protect your pending timers and commands.

Haptics

I don’t feel wrist taps

  1. Wear Apple Watch snugly on the top of your wrist and confirm Wrist Detection is enabled.
  2. On Apple Watch, open Settings → Sounds & Haptics and turn on Haptic Alerts.
  3. In Haptix Settings, confirm haptic feedback is enabled and try a stronger intensity.
  4. Start a short test Haptix while the Watch app is visible to separate a haptic issue from a sync issue.

Silent Mode does not need to be disabled for Apple Watch haptic alerts.

Notifications

A completion or loop notification didn’t appear

  1. Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → Haptix and turn on Allow Notifications.
  2. Review Focus settings and make sure Haptix is not being silenced by the active Focus.
  3. Open Haptix Settings and confirm the completion or loop-transition alert you want is enabled.
  4. Run a short test with the iPhone locked. If it still fails, include the device state in your support message.

Purchases

Haptix Pro isn’t unlocked

  1. Confirm the App Store is signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
  2. Open Haptix → Settings → Haptix Pro Unlock, then select Restore Purchases.
  3. Stay connected to the internet until the restore finishes. A pending family approval must be completed first.
  4. If no purchase is found, contact us with the Haptix version and the exact message shown—never send your Apple Account password or payment details.

Haptix Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Data & privacy

What leaves my devices?

Haptix has no developer-operated account, advertising, or analytics service. Your Haptix, settings, and local diagnostics are not uploaded to us automatically. If support asks for a diagnostic export, you choose whether and where to share it. Review our Privacy Policy for the complete explanation.

Still stuck?

Tell us what happened.

Include the device models, iOS and watchOS versions, Haptix version and build from Settings, what you expected, what happened instead, and the last action you took. A screenshot of the exact message is often helpful.

Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information. Send a diagnostic export only if you choose to after reviewing it.
